About me
Brian Jernigan is a Career and Technical Education (CTE) instructor and IB Design Technology teacher at Littleton High School in Colorado, where he leads the innovative “Woodshop 2.0” program. His work integrates empathy-driven design with advanced manufacturing technologies, including CNC machining, laser cutting, and 3D printing, to create real-world solutions for community partners such as the American Printing House for the Blind and the Anchor Center for Blind Children. Brian has secured over $450,000 in grant funding to transform his program into a cutting-edge design lab and has been recognized at the state level for his contributions to CTE innovation. He is passionate about preparing students for high-demand careers by combining hands-on learning, industry partnerships, and inclusive design practices.
