About me
Emily Fickbohm began her career in education as an agriculture education teacher on the eastern plains, where she taught for 9 years. She later served as Dean of Students and Principal before joining the Colorado Community College System in 2021, first as Program Director of Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Energy, and then transitioning to the Director of Accountability and Performance in 2024. Emily is passionate about academic alignment and believes “CTE is not just an elective,” but a powerful opportunity for students to apply core academic skills within real-world, career-connected learning.
